Bare Essentials Wax Bar is a full-service esthetics studio, offering facials and specializing in full body waxing.
"On a day-to-day basis, I experience a myriad of clients from different walks of life. While lying on my wax table, people consistently share their hearts and concerns with me. I use this time not only to provide a service but also an ear and a place of comfort. From everyday life to body insecurity, I want each client to feel comfortable bearing it all. Literally and figuratively.
My specialty is the Brazilian Wax, and I've found that discussing vaginal health and periodic maintenance tends to raise taboo amongst women. My goal is to dispel the myths surrounding vaginal health with facts supported by science and experiential knowledge. The vagina is a normal functioning organ on the body, so why are we afraid to talk about it? When clients come to me, I provide a safe space of comfort and information.

THE OWNER
Dequasia Timmons is the owner of Bare Essentials Wax Bar located in Huntsville, AL. She has always had an interest in all things beauty from photography to modeling to makeup. Dequaisia started doing makeup locally and instantly knew that she would like to focus on the health of the skin underneath the makeup and that is where her desire for esthetics grew. Dequasia enrolled in and graduated from St. John’s School of Esthetics located in Huntsville, Alabama.
